Ch-60: Late in the night ( Online Novel - Zero )

It was 2.30 in the night. John was driving fast his car through the eerie silence of the city. Still the riots were going on, therefore the roads in the city used to go silent quite early. And now, since it was 2.30 am the road was totally empty. As John was driving his vehicle, he heard police siren from behind. He looked into the mirror. A police vehicle was following him.
Shall I stop the vehicle?
He thought for a moment and pushed the break hard. The vehicle stopped on the side of the road making screeching sound. The police vehicle overtook him and stopped in front of his vehicle. They peeked through their vehicle. John got down. Two police men came to him.
“Where are you going gentleman, so late in the night?’’ One of them asked while approaching him.
When they stopped in front of him, one of them started to observe him closely.
“John, Sir. You!” the one observing said in surprise.
May be he knew John, but John didn’t know him. Due to the serial killer case media had given John a lot of fame and exposure. Before he was dismissed almost daily his photo used to come in newspapers or news used to flash about him.
“ Yes.. I am John... I was just taking a round” John said.
“ No problem sir, you carry on please” He said politely.
John sat in the vehicle, started vehicle, and derived off waving at them.
John’s vehicle stopped in a quiet place in front of a house. It was Command1’s house. After the third murder, when Command1’s dead body was found below the building, they had raided this house. John got down, parking his vehicle to one side of the road. He looked around, to find nothing but a dark and eerie silence everywhere. He went to the compound gate, which was locked and sealed with police seal. He took a round around to check out the possibility of intrusion in the premise. The compound wall was protected with nailed wire at the top. To the left of the gate the nailed wire was broken at a place.
It's the right place to intrude...
He thought.
But shall I intrude?...
I am already dismissed.. and in such situation If I get caught while intruding they would suspect something different...
Whatever happens... Now I will not back off...
Since the time Anjeni left him, he had become more and more careless about his life. While he was thinking he started to climb up the compound wall. It was difficult to climb, as the wall was quite high. He jumped to check up something to hold to climb. He got hold of something, he hold it tightly and climbed the wall. But while climbing he got severe pain in his hand. When he was on the top of the wall he checked his hand, it was a nailed wire which he got hold of. Immediately, he released the wire, looked at his hand. It was bleeding badly. Holding the bleeding hand tight he jumped on the other side, inside the premise.

Ch-59B: Aryabhatta ( Online Novel - Zero )

Though it is little difficult to tell who is the founder of Indian mathematics and Astronomy, Indian vedas contains the whole information about it. Many Rishis had developed calendar rules, the various ways and methods to give the information about eclipses, new moon night, and to decide the suitable time for various activities. With the passing time Rishis developed Paitamah theorem, Vaishistha theorem, Romak theorem, Pawlik theorem etc. But gradually they became old as they didn’t gave accurate results. Therefore people were loosing faith in it. But then a Scientist Aryabhatta removed the errors in this knowledge about mathematics and Astronomy and put it in front of people in new revised form.
The era known by Gupta era and Suvarna era was the era when India made phenomenal progress in the field of literature, Art and Science. In the field of Science the progress was made in the branches of Mathematics, Chemistry and Astrology. During that period a famous mathematician and Astrologer played a major role. He was resident of a village Kusumpur near Patna, capital of Bihar state. He was born on 13th April 476 and Died during 520. Those days Buddh and Jain religions were more in prevalence. But he was a follower of Sanatan Hindu religion. He made various remarkable inventions and research in the field of mathematics and astrology which could be considered to be ahead of time those days. He wrote that knowledge in the form of books and made an arrangement for the availability of that knowledge to the future generations.
Those days Magadh located Nalandi University was the major and famous study center. Students used to come there from within and outside India. There was a separate department for astronomy in the University. According to an ancient verse Aryabhatta had headed the Nalanda University as a chancellor.
On the present day the information of three books written by Aryabhatta is available. Dashgitika, Aryabhattiya, and Tantra. But the specialists say that he has written one more book. Aryabhatta Sidhanta. But to this date only 34 verses of this book are available. The book was popularly been used in seventh century. But when the book was been used popularly like other books then why and how it is disappeared? It’s an unsolved puzzle.
Aryabhatta was a first scientist who included Arithmetic, Algebra, and Geometry in Astrology. In ‘Aryabhattiya Sidhanta’ he gave an introduction of basic theorems of Astrology. The book was divided into four parts of 121 verses.
In the part named Gitpadika he explained the things like planet’s rotation period, zodiac the planet’s rotation orbits.
In the second part named Gitpad analyzed mathematical square root, cube root, area of triangle, sine (jya) etc.
The relationship between the circumference and the diagonal of the circle, which we called Pi, He estimated it to be 3.1416 which was almost accurate.
In this book he had given the mathematical formulae like
(A+B)2 = A2+2AB+B2
In the third part named ‘Kalkriya’ of this book he wrote about the different parts of the time scale, planets rotation and revolution, counting of days, weeks, months etc. In the same book he had explained about the method of writing a large number in concise form.
Fourth part is famous by name 'Golpad' and it gives information about Astronomy science. Sun, Moon, Pluto, Neptune and other planets, their states, the reasons of Day and Night, zodiac and the reasons of eclipse etc are also explained in this book. Even today's scientists surprise when they know that Aryabhatta had estimated the correct value of Pi and defined Sine in that old era.
Aryabhatta was an epoch maker. He never entertained the superstitions spread those days. On the contrary he tried to educate people against those superstitions. He told the world that Earth, Moon and other planets don't have their own light and they shine due to the sun. Even he told that the part of the earth on which the sunlight falls there it is day and the other side it is night. He also discussed about the different times at different cities and their reasons. He told the world that the earth is spherical and rotates around its axis. He also wiped off the belief of the people that the earth is the center of the universe and sun and other planets revolves around it. He had also estimated about the shape, speed, and the orbit of the earth and researched about solar and lunar eclipses. He estimated the main recurrence era of about 4320 thousand years and subdivided it into four small eras called Satyayug, Tretayug, dwaparyug and kaliyug. The period for these small eras he estimated as 1080 thousand years. He devised a formula to calculate the days when there would be solar and lunar eclipses in the future and according to the formula the estimate was never wrong.
Other than astrology he also worked on mathematics and invented various theorems. He was the first to elaborately teach algebra to the Indian people those times. Though it is difficult to tell about who invented the concept of zero and the digital number system in India but it was been elaborately used in Arayabhatta's books. His success was spread not only in India but also across the world. Arab scholars were very proud of his astrological knowledge and used to call him 'Arajbhat'
Aryabhatta who made various inventions in Algebra, Arithmetic, Geometry and Astrology, if mentioned as an important milestone in the Indian history, would not be an exaggeration. Those days almost all books were in the form of verses and they were passed from one generation to other by mugging. The book 'Aryabhatta Sidhanta' though was widely used in 7th century, with time it disappeared. This fact creates a mysterious curiosity about the knowledge that book contained. His fondness for the subject mathematics which is always exact and accurate and the nature of knowledge he had provided in his existing books makes anybody to believe that the book which is disappeared must contained the special knowledge about the astrology. That may be the reason later on the people may have preferred it to keep secrete or may be it would prove to be destructive if it goes in wrong hands...

Though command2 had read this paper many times before, he felt elated by reading it now also. Considering Boss's fondness for zero, Vedic mathematics and astrology and his ability to guess the right time for the right job, Command2 was convinced that Boss must had found the book 'Aryabhatt Sidhant' . Command2 was now done with his almost half the job. But the remaining half and the most important part of the job was still to be done. First and foremost it was important to find whereabouts of the Boss. Last time when Boss talked him on mobile his number did not appeared on the display. He was not sure how did he managed to do that. Still he went to the telephone company to trace his Boss. They did not proved to be of much use to him. But they discovered a new thing that their frequency was been stolen by somebody. They were also able to tell him by large the area from where the phone had come. Since he didn't knew Boss's face it had became very difficult for Command2 to find him. Still he used to go almost daily in the area to find Boss, and used to return only when he is totally exhausted. There were no signs of finding Boss. May be when he wandered around these many times in the area, boss may have crossed him. But there was no way by which he could have recognized him.

Ch-59A: Aryabhatta ( Online Novel - Zero )

Command2 was watching TV sitting relaxed in the easy chair. But mentally he was somewhere else. He was prompt in completing all the jobs delegated to him by the Boss. Boss was also happy with him. The important thing was, Boss did not suspected him about Command1’s murder. In between he was switching among the news channels, just as a fun. He was enjoying the news of riots, arsons, and baton charges. A peculiar smile crept over his face, but did not last for long. And he suddenly got up the chair.
Its not the time to relax..
I should go for the next course of action..
He started strolling in the room, stopped, decided something and went to the corner, in front of the cupboard. He opened the cupboard, opened the bottommost drawer. He removed the drawer completely from its place and placed it below, near his feet. He opened another drawer which was visible in the open space formed by removing the previous drawer. He removed something from it and kept carefully in his trouser pocket. He closed the drawer, picked up the drawer kept near his feet and closed it placing it to its previous appropriate place. After closing the cupboard he went to the computer, put it on. Waiting for computer to boot he was strolling again uneasily in the room.
Before I took over the next course of action I should be well prepared...
I am still short of my objective...
The objective for which I took the risk to kill Command1, was still not visible to me..
He removed the pen drive he kept just now in his trouser pocket. He looked at it, though thinking over something else.
As a part of preparation I should go through the material which I got on Command1’s computer regarding Boss...
Suddenly he stopped strolling, looked at the monitor. Computer was booted. He went to the computer, inserted the pen drive in USB drive. Pulled the chair and sat in front of the computer. Now he was operating it swiftly making the finger movements like some magician. He opened the file which he copied earlier in his pen drive from Command1’s mail box. It was a research paper. The title was ‘Literature of Arayabhatta’
He was sure about the fact that using the information given in the research paper he would get a thing in future which would definitely prove beneficial for him. A smile crept over his face. Probably he was pleased to sense the benefits which he would get in the future. He started reading the important points from the paper...

Ch-58: Memories ( Online Novel - Zero )

It was 1’ O’Clock in the night. Almost since 3-4 days John locked himself in the house. As if he lost track of the time and passing days. But today he got to his senses not because of passed time but because of his exhausted whisky stock. As he got to his senses his all sensations became alive. He recalled his all moments spent with Anjeni...
Artificial respiration given to her by him and as if it was harmonization of his breaths to hers..
Uneasiness of his heart to meet her..
Even if tried hard his turning footsteps towards her house...
His first date with her..
Their passionate, pure first love making...
The warmth of her breaths..
The shower and warmth of her love...
The vacation spent with her ..
The glimpses of her naughty, innocent gestures..
The moments when he proposed her, bringing the ring overnight...
Her hug tight acceptance..
Her continuous motivation to bring him out of despair..
And..
And.. her brutal murder..
His eyes welled up. Tears rolled over his chicks.
He accused himself and felt responsible for her death.
When the secret of the murder was reveled, he would have realized that after fifth murder the sixth one would be of her beloved Anjeni...
He would have realized it..
But to avoid fifth murder he was so engrossed in the investigations that he even didn’t thought of the sixth murder..
He cleared the tears with his wrist. Still he was not able to believe that she had left him alone in such a way. He looked around in the house.
The house was looking strange and eerie ...
Was it the house eerie or his thought made it ...
He looked to the front door.
The news papers slipped by news paper boy were lying in a heap since 3-4 days. He felt like those news papers were also teasing him peering down under the door. He got up, went to the door. For a moment he thought of going out in a fresh air. But no.. now he was feeling comfortable in the room, all alone. He pulled the newspaper bunch, went through them standing there. Everywhere he could found the news none other than riots, arson, and baton charge. Not only that in India also the riots had been started. It means the situation outside still was not normal. Americans seemed to be vowed to send away not only Indians but also those who belonged to other countries. And Indian people had started street marches to abandon the American companies. He threw those news papers in the corner in irritation and went to the chair where he sat before. On the table ahead the empty whisky bottles where heaped up, and beside an empty glass was sitting alone relaxed. John started the TV picking up the remote from the table. He skipped the channels one by one. He didn’t felt like to stop to any particular channel as everywhere there were all news of riots, arson, and baton charge. In irritation he switched of the TV pressing hard the remote button and threw the remote on the coach.
He was now realizing that he must come out of the depression.
But how?..
That was the thing he was not sure about.
If I engage myself in some work...
Yes it’s the best way to come out of depression...
But department had also stopped him backing up. He was still not permitted to go on work..
And it seemed impossible at least till the situations cools down..
He got up and started strolling in the room.
Still if I could catch the killer..
At least it will help to cool down the environment disturbed outside. But the killer is possibly an organization rather than a single person. But even if it's organization, what does it make difference?...
If I could catch a single member of the organization, it will help to reach to the root of the organization..
No.. I should do something...
He went to the window, stared outside, just in void. His palms started to turn up in fists.
At least I should do something for the sake of Anjeni, to rest her soul in peace...
But where from I should start?...
It's easy to extinguish a single tree if it caught fire... But here it’s a whole jungle burning into fire...
Again he started strolling and recalled the case right from the beginning.
May be we should have missed some important clues...

Suddenly a thought flashed in his mind-
During third murder a corpse which we found below the building, it must be somehow strongly related to the case...
Subsequently we raided the house... There it was strange that we were not able to find a single finger impression..
The hard disk of the computer was also missing...
That means it was strongly related to the case....
The house was still in police custody. Nobody till date had claimed on the house.
Its here I could get some missing link...
Suddenly John felt enthusiasm as he had got something to do.
If I inspect the house again...
But the keys were with police...
Come on.. let's get out of here first...
Rest of the things I will decide later on...
He shook off the depressing thoughts from his mind and went out of the house with a firm resolution.

Ch-57: Tit for tat ( Online Novel - Zero )

It was a dark at night. Dan opened his front door slightly to peak outside. It was dark all around. Slowly he slipped out, again looked around to make sure than no one is watching him. As he was sure he came out of his compound. On road he looked around, the road was empty. He walked some distance and turned right. He was walking fast in the dark. As his walking speed increased, his thought wheel also speeded up.
Last time he was awarded by killer with quite a big sum...
This time also as he informed the killer about the finding of John, Sam and Boss about the next victim, killer was very happy with him..
The killer had called him on a place to collect his award. Now, in fact Dan had come to this place to collect the award. Killer had promised him that he would get an award he had never thought of. As he thought of an award his heart started pounding with happiness. He stated dreaming the money ten times more than the earlier one, his speed of walking slowed down. Now he was walking as if intoxicated.
Over.. this is the last one...
Now onwards I would not indulge in such deceits...
In fact, after I get such a handsome amount, it’s not necessary for me to involve in such acts again...
After I get money... I will not leave job immediately.. Otherwise somebody may get suspicion..
It is better to be in the job as a time pass... and leave it when the proper time comes, and go for some business..
Otherwise first go for some business and as I settle in it, leave the job...
Dan’s thought wheel was moving continuously. As he realized the place had come, where the money had been kept, he stopped, again looked around, and neared the place. Now a smile was crept over his face. The place was too deserted to get feared. But Dan’s fear was overtaken by his greed. There was a huge tree ahead.
This is the one ... below which the money must have kept..
Now, Dan was feeling elated.
Now just few seconds..
I would be an owner of a big some within few seconds, which I never dreamed of,...
He went to the trunk of the tree, searched for the emblem. He found a big boulder kept there. Without wasting time he moved the boulder. As he moved the boulder, there was a big explosion and his hand was exploded into pieces. The pointed pieces of the boulder were inserted into his body. He fell down to death in a pool of blood. Just before dieing he was realized that, yes, it was his last deceit as he decided...

Ch-56: Last victim ( Online Novel - Zero )

John pushed the flat door with his heart pounding badly. Door opened as it was not latched from inside. As John saw the scene inside, he started trembling. His heart was beating so fast that for a while he thought it is going to stop. In front of him was his dearest Anjeni lying in the pool of blood. And on the wall was a big zero drawn with her blood. John went to her. He felt his legs weakening. He sat down near her, checked her beat. He started sobbing, hiding his face into her palms. Anjeni was dead!
Sam was confused, not sure about what to do next. He kept his consoling hand on John’s trembling shoulders, trembling with his painful sobbing. Sam sat near him on his knees. Killer was successful in getting to his last victim too.
Now Sam got the meaning of the last message written by the killer - ‘ Zero ends from where it starts’
And he also realized that the last letter in ‘Shunya’ ‘A’ was the starting alphabet in ‘Anjeni’.
John reminded himself of the duty.
The killer must be nearby, since the murder seemed to be just recent..
We should catch him..
But John’s complete energy seemed to be exhausted. He some how managed to get up, “ Sam... Killer still must be nearby around”
“ Yes sir...” Sam said.

Ch-55: Last message ( Online Novel - Zero )

Police vehicle, making irritating siren sound, stopped in front of the apartment. John and Sam quickly got down. John was somewhat relieved to see that still press had not reached the scene. As they got down, almost they ran to the elevator. Finding both elevators busy, John pressed the button repetitively and kicked the closed door of the elevator with frustration. This time too the murder was executed on the tenth floor. For a moment John thought to go by steps but then dropped the idea, as it was always wise to wait for the lift rather than to go on foot on the tenth floor. He was waiting for the elevator and uneasily hitting his right fist on the left. Sam was also impatiently strolling around, in between checking the elevator status. Lastly the left side elevator arrived. They entered impatiently as the door opened. Sam pressed the 10 number button. Door closed and the numbers 1,2,3,4 ... started running on the display.
As elevator door opened, both came out looking around in confusion, as the layout of the building seemed to be little complicated. John asked one of the men entering the elevator, " Can you tell us please.. Where is flat no 15"
The man just gestured towards right side and entered the elevator. Before Sam could ask him more the elevator door closed; the man was disappeared in the elevator. They looked around for some other person to ask. But there was nobody around. They thought for a while and rushed toward the right side.
Both shared triumph look when they saw 1015 written above a flat door. They became alert, removed their guns. Sam pushed the door gently; it opened, as it was not latched from in. Sam and John entered vigilantly in. In the hall things were littered around clumsily. And to one side a body was lying in the pool of the blood.
" My God" words came out of Sam's mouth.
" Let me check his beat first"
John checked the beat of the body.
Sam looked at John eagerly to know whether he is still alive.
" He is Dead" John said in despair.
Sam exhaled in despair and went in to search for the other clues.
This time too killer didn't missed to draw zero on the wall and the message in it. The message was not readable from the distance therefore John went closer.
'' Zero ends from where it starts" was the message.
John pondered over the message.
Sam was still busy inside searching for the clues.
Suddenly John's face darkened with fear.
" Sam " he called out with a shivering voice.
Sam immediately came out leaving behind the job he was doing.
" What's wrong?" He asked trying to read the Johns fearful face.
John darted out the open door and before Sam could understand anything he was out of his eyes.
" Come on... come we need to hurry" Sam heard him saying from outside.
" Where? " Sam said going out of the door.
In the corridor John was running toward the elevator. Sam was unable to get why he was running. But he could get from his movements that some thing was wrong or was going to be wrong. Sam followed him running with confusion.
As John reached the elevator he pressed the button. Luckily elevator was on the same floor. Elevator door opened.
John looked back at Sam before entering the elevator, '' Come on... we have to immediately go"
Sam rushed and entered the elevator before the door was closed.
'' Where are we going?'' Sam asked.
" I tell you.." John said with his long breaths.
Sam stood near John, looking at him, waiting eagerly to listen, what he had in his mind to say. The elevator door closed.

Ch-54: Hillview Appartment ( Online Novel - Zero )

While coming out of the corporation office John and Sam were obstructed by the crowd and the office boys moving around carrying office files. As they reached the open space in front of the office they felt better.
“ How will we proceed now?” Sam asked while walking with him.
That way Sam was officially in charge of the case, still he was aware of the capabilities of his ex-boss.
“ I think we should send the two members given with us to these two addresses..” John said.
“ Yes you are right” Sam said, removing a mobile from his pocket.
Sam dialed a number.
“ Hallo... Anthony... look... We have got three possible victims of the fifth murder... I tell you one... You have to report there immediately... yeah.. take down ..’’
Sam told him the name and address of one of the residents they have sorted out.
“ And... you have to report immediately... his life is in danger” Sam said further.
Sam disconnected and dialed one more number. He detailed the second department member given to them to the second address.
“ What to do with this third address.. Boss had given us two persons only.. “ John asked Sam
“ We will ring him, inform him about the progress till now and will ask for one more person .. so that he could be detailed on the third address”
“ Will he give us one more? ... I doubt” John expressed his uncertainty.
“ Let’s see”
Sam was about to dial Boss’s number when his mobile rang. John looked at the display. It was Boss. Sam immediately attended it.
“ Note down an address, I tell...” Boss said from other side.
“ Yes sir.. please”
Let us first listen to him and then inform him about the progress ..
Sam thought.
Sam grabbed a pen and a paper from John’s pocket.
“ Yahota Craft, B-1011, Hillview Appartments, KT-lane-3” Boss told from other side.
Its the third address they possessed ...
How did he come to know it.. when we have not informed him..
“... Report there immediately... Fifth murder is also executed” Boss disconnected the phone.
The puzzle - How did he come to know this address? - was now no more puzzle for him.
“ We are late” Sam said to John in despair.
“ What’s wrong?” John asked in surprise.
“ Fifth murder is also executed... the victim is Yahota Craft” Sam said handing him over the printout on which the possible victims and their addresses were printed.

Ch-53: Y star (Novel-Zero)

John and Sam were in corporation office. John opened the map roll in his hand on the table in front of one of the corporation officer. It was a city map on which were made five red marks and a circle was drawn through those marks.
“Mr. Peterson we are in need of the list of the residents names living in this area and whose names start with ‘Y’” John said indicating towards the fifth red mark.
“In this area and starting with ‘Y’... I think we need to take the help of the computer for this purpose” Mr. Peterson said.
He got up, “Come with me”
Peterson took them to the computer center, occupied with four-five cubicles.
Staff was engrossed in their work sitting in their respective cubicles. The staff was mainly young girls in their twenties. Mr. Peterson took them to one of the cubicles. A girl in bob cut was working there. She was busy, her delicate hands operating keyboard and mouse, and eyes looking at monitor through her spectacles.
“Merry these are officers from police department, they are in need of a list of some residents” Mr. Peterson said.
John unrolled the rolled map in his hand in front of the girl.
“Living in this area..” John pointed to the red mark on the map.
“ ...And first names starting with ‘y’” John continued.
The girl glanced at John and Sam. She carefully looked at the cross and said, “ Sure sir ... just a minute”
She scribbled three-four names of the colony on the paper in front of her, looking at the red mark indicated by John. She double clicked swiftly on one of the icon on her desktop. A Software opened on the monitor. She ventured through various menus and options in those menus and lastly selected one of those. She typed ‘Y*’ in one of the text box, and typed the area names separated by coma in other text box. Rather than looking at what she was typing it was more pleasant to look at the swift movements of her delicate fingers, nail polished in skinny red color.
Now just one more click...
Lastly she clicked on ‘Find’ button.
‘Finding’ – a messaged appeared on the monitor.
If computer would not have been invented, the information they needed was very difficult to find...
John thought.
And what is computer? - a game of zeros and ones. The zero came here too...
Suddenly names of the residents appeared on the monitor with their respective addresses.
“Twenty nine people!” words came through Sam’s open mouth.
“ Out of them can we find who stays on tenth floor?” John asked.
“ Tenth floor? With the help of computer we can find .. but I think... it will be more convenient if we find it manually” Merry said.
With swift and magical movements of her fingers she gave a print command. A printer kept aside came into an action and printed the list of twenty nine residents. As Merry took the print in her hand, Sam and John ducked forward to go through the list. In the address field somewhere the floor was mentioned as a part of the flat number, somewhere it was mentioned separately, and somewhere it was mentioned using roman numbers. They realized how it was difficult to find out the residents on the tenth floor with the help of the computer. John ticked three names in the print.
John shook hand with Merry and Peterson
“ Thank you Merry... Thank you Peterson... you have really made our job easy.. thanks!”
“ You are welcome”
John and Sam left the building in hurry carrying the print in one hand.

Ch-52: Brahma is Complete in itself (Novel-Zero)

The rishi meditating in the cave at the base of one of the Himalayas valleys suddenly startled awake. His eyes were red and a triumph smile on his face. Slowly his eyes again got closed. Again becoming ignorant from the atmosphere around, ignorant from the era, the place and his body his consciousness started traveling freely.
In the jungle, near the hut three residents were discussing something among themselves. Suddenly the rishi appeared from behind. As they sensed his presence they turned to look at him.
The same rishi ..
They remembered his words..
‘Don’t worry, I will take you out soon from your dilemma’
They were looking at him with anticipation.
A strange smile crept over his face.
“ Consider your problem as solved” rishi said.

rishi chanted a Sanskrit shloka loudly-

Aum purnam adaha purnam purnat purnam udchyate |
Purnasya purnam aadaya purnam evav shishyate |

“ Meaning when the complete is added to complete or complete is subtracted from the complete, the remaining is the complete.. Brahma is complete in itself. Therefore when Brahma is added to Brahma or Brahma is subtracted from Brahma the remaining is Brahma. Here complete and Brahma could called as infinity. As where there is day there is night. Where light comes the opposite of it dark always follows. Similarly wherever there is completeness or infinity the opposite of it ‘Shunya’ must be there”
Indicating at the river ahead the rishi said further, “ Look at the bubbles in the water... how the destroy”
“ There is one thing which is nothing at times and which is everything at times. It ends where it starts. It is a thing out of which this cosmos, you and me are created. One day all of us have to merge in it.”
While talking rishi was strolling around them.
“ Rishivar, we are doing research in mathematics and we are looking for the mathematical solution of the problem, not spiritual” One of them spoke.
“ Yes, due to which you are feeling your research incomplete, is the solution, and it is mathematical and equally spiritual”
Rishi took all of them to side and showed them the circle formed due to his continuous round strolling.
“ The thing which you need to complete your research is ‘Shunya’(Zero)”
All the faces beamed up with happiness.
Rishi said, “ shunya ends where it starts”
One of them drew a circle as a sign to indicate ‘shunya’ (zero).
Rishi said, “ Shunya is nothing at times”
One of them wrote 0+6=6
Rishi said further, “ Shunya is everything at times”
Other one wrote 0x6=0
Now their research work was speeded up. All of them got engrossed deeply in their work. When they came to senses, they looked around. The rishi was not around. The surprise was visible on their faces.
Where the rishi has gone?...
Probably he was merged into ‘shunya’ (Zero)....

Ch-51: Arson (Novel-Zero)

Boss and other Police were standing in front of the TV and were watching the news of the riots spread all over America. Phone was ringing in between, which was duly attended by the lady police staff sitting near the phone. Boss switched the news channel, to find the news of the same thing. Every news channels were over flooded with the news regarding the riots going on all over America.
Suddenly John came in with rage, Sam looked at him sympathetically. Boss just ignored him and the others were pretending to be busy in their work. John did not like the way Boss ignored him. Loosing almost his control he outburst, “ Sir if we could not stop the fifth murder... the people now involved in riots would go wild ... and then it would be almost impossible to control them...”
Boss looked at him, pondered over, and said looking at Sam, “ Sam I think he is right... You go with him taking two more police and see if we can do something”
Boss turned to John, “ I am sorry John, this much I can do”
John sensed the sarcasm in his words, as he was without uniform and without powers. John was about to snap back when Boss said, “ Because the arson has already started at the Canaught place... I would need people there also... And many places the riots can start’’
Still John was to say something when there was phone for Boss. Before attending the phone he said, “ Come on go quickly, don’t waste your time”
John and Sam rushed out.

Ch-50B: Audio (Novel-Zero)

'' My Indian brothers and sisters''
There was a long pause in between.
All assembled at boardroom looked at each other quizzically.
The voice in the audio again echoed-
“Someway or the other somebody or the other had been ruling us since long, as if we are been accustomed to the habit of getting ruled. Prior to this 150 years British ruled us ... They treated us very badly like an animals.... You will be surprised to know that still somebody is ruling us.. And yes it is true and its not the fact to surprise it is a shameful fact.. If we look back to our past ... The advanced science we see today ... the base of this science is been established by us long back, during our Vedic era... But these advanced countries did not agree with this.. They have either stolen this science from us or grabbed forcefully from us with their power... As an example ... zero... zero was been invented by us... but they still did not agree with this... Pythagoras theorem had been invented by one of our ancestor mathematician Aryabhatta... But today it is famous on somebody else's name... Jya (Sine) was also invented by Aryabhatta. These are some examples of mathematical inventions... In the life sciences Aurveda is the gift of Indians to the world... When America tried to patent turmeric ... the medical uses of which are mentioned in our Aurveda is a typical example of grabbing others technology on the basis of their power... Using their power with the help of the media they impose on us the lies, hiding the real truth.. The invention made by us proves one thing that we were never inferior to them in any way nor we are now.. Today our brain is been drained in America and Europe proves the fact.. Then the question arises if we are mentally superior in all respects than them then why we are lagging behind them.. The main causes of these problems are -
1. Lack of nationalism in us...
2. Their attitude towards us
3. Their interference in our national policies on the basis of their power... this is the way they are still ruling us indirectly.
Now its time to attract their attention towards us by shaking them... and also it is necessary to make Indians awake about their nationalism... That is why we have started this 'Zero mystery' drive... Because it is easy to make awake the slept but to make awake the pretending slept huge explosion is necessary... These people had taken our non-violence always in other way around... Therefore it was necessary to prove our aggression this way.. Now this is the first step.. We need to do much more things to get back our lost prosperity ... I hope, in fact I am confident that all the Hindus will support our this expedition.. Hindus are much more capable... Be ready for ruling the world..

The message was in Hindi. Nobody in the boardroom knew Hindi. A police officer with Indian base was sitting in the boardroom, who made it easy for the others to understand the audio speech by explaining the meaning in between. There was an awkward silence in the board room.
" My God!'' the word came out of Boss's mouth.
" It is a terrorism" Sam said.
" No ... not simply terrorism .. Its Hindu terrorism... earlier we were victim of Muslim terrorism ... now its Hindi terrorism also in the list" Boss said.
" Sir I think now we should try to prevent the next murder" John said.
'' Mr. John now this case is not simply a murder case.. now it has become a phenomenon" Boss said.
" But if we could stop the next murder.. and if we could catch the culprit... then we could get a control over it" John expressed his opinion.
" Now there is nothing we can control... Already the whole America is burning in the fire of riots ... And the culprit is not a single cheap killer .. Its a terrorist organization behind it... Hindu terrorist organization"
" But how so quickly the riots got spread all over?" Sam expressed his surprise.
" During 9/11 peoples anger had reached to a particular threshold level... And now the anger has outburst into riots knowing about one more terrorism.'' Boss said as if he analyzed the people's behavior. That way his study in the field of mob behavior and mob tendency was quite in depth.
Again the peon came in.
" Sir Mayer's phone" He said bending respectfully at Boss's ear.
Boss got up, " Come on ...let us get up ... now we have to handle these riots"
Boss was going out. Except John everybody followed him. John was looking them going with despair.

Ch-50A: Audio (Novel-Zero)

John, Sam and other police officers were discussing about how to catch the killer. John initially encouraged each of them to talk about their ideas. And then considering all ideal found a mid, which he took for discussion. Everybody was given an equal chance in the discussion. This way of discussion was new to everybody, as Boss’s way was totally different. His meetings used to be the dictator’s meetings. This democratic way was appreciated by everybody. Everybody was involved in the topic one way or the other. But they were worried if Boss would come in between and discard everything. And the same had happened; Boss came hurriedly when their discussion was in the middle. He was sweating badly. Seeing Boss’s condition the room became silent.
Some mishap must have happened..
They thought. A peon followed Boss carrying a laptop
“ There has been a problem” Boss said, as he entered.
Pin drop silence. Everybody was eager to hear him next.
“ The killer we are dealing with, is probably not a single person... Rater it must be an organization... Probably a terrorist organization”
“ Terrorist organization?” All mouths opened in surprise at once.
It was new information for everybody present there. Nobody had ever thought it in that angle.
“ It was a press call... It is mess everywhere in the city... Those people have released an audio on the Internet..” Boss said in a single breath and gestured Dan to start the laptop. As Dan started laptop, boss said, “ I have not heard the audio... I think we should first listen to it”
Boss sat before laptop. By this time Dan had started the laptop and opened the Google search engine. Dan has rightly guessed that the audio file was first to be searched. Dan looked at the Boss in the anticipation to know which search string he has to type. That way Dan had good tuning with Boss. He used to know most of the times what was on his mind.
“ Zero Mystery” Boss said.
Dan entered ‘Zero Mystery’ as a search string and clicked a button. Within fraction of seconds hundreds of blue links appeared on the screen.
Everybody pushed their heads ahead as they were eager to see what appeared on the screen.
“ The forth link” Boss ordered.
Sam clicked the fourth link from the top. A site opened with an audio file link. There were two options – Play and Download.
“ Play it directly” Boss ordered.
Sam pressed the play button. Initially it was silent, as if it was a silence before storm. Then a stern voice echoed in the room. Everybody was silent as they were ready to hear the audio.

Ch-49C: Meeting (Novel-Zero)

John briefed everybody with the invention of zero and the concerned history.
“ And the secrete of these murders lie in this zero... in the Indian ancient literature the zero is been mentioned everywhere as ‘Shunya’”
John took a deep breath and continued,
“ The first victim was Sani... whose name starts with letter ‘S’.. the second victim was Huyana, whose name starts with letter ‘H’ . Third victim, Utina’s name starts with ‘U’ and the recent victim Niyole, his name starts with ‘N’. That is ‘S’ ‘H’ ‘U’ ‘N’ ‘Y’ ‘A’ (Shunya). Means the next victims name must start ‘Y’.”
Everybody, including Boss was impressed with the analysis John has done.
“ But in our city there could be thousands of people having there names started with ‘Y’ . How can we protect all of them” Boss expressed his worry.
“ To give protection to these many people is practically impossible” Sam expressed.
“ No we need not provide protection to all of them... I observed one more thing about the pattern of killings.. due to which the people which need to be protected will be narrowed down” John said.
Everybody looked at him as if they got one more thread of hope. John got up and went to the map of the city hanged on the wall ahead. He carried some documents with him. Co-coordinating with the map and the document in his hand he made a red cross on the map.
“ First victim Sani’s house is somewhere here around”
Everybody was trying to understand what he wants to say.
John again made one more red cross on the map co-coordinating with the document in his hand, “ Second victim Huyana’s house must be somewhere here”
He made one more red cross and said, “ Third victim was Utina and she lives somewhere here... and the recent victim Niyol’s house...”
Again he referred the document in his hand and said, making a red cross on the map, “ ... should be here”
Everybody in the meeting room was still puzzled.
“ I am not getting what you are trying to prove?” Sam said.
“ Either you did not know what you are trying to prove or may be it is going over our heads” Boss said bitterly.
“ Have a careful look again .. think... see if you are able to get something?”
John said glancing over the officers sitting in the board room.
Few seconds passed, as they were trying to get something out of it.
Then John drew a curved green line through the red crosses. And what a surprise a green circle was visible on the map.
“ Look... what is this”
“ A circle” Somebody said.
“ Its not a mere circle ... it is a zero” John said mysteriously.
The faces ahead in the board room were beamed up realizing it.
“ Yes .. John you are genius” Sam could not stop to say.
Boss looked at him with displeasure.
“ First cross here... second here.. Third and the fourth here” John indicated towards the crosses on the map.
“ That means the fifth cross should be somewhere around here” John marked a red cross on the circle in the middle of the fourth and the first cross.
“ In this area the fifth victim is hidden... and his name starts with ‘Y’ ... The houses matching with these two information... hardly could be 4-5 houses and that too on the 10th floor possibly.. because for every murder the killer had chosen a 10th floor.”
“ Yes if we could keep continuous watch on these houses ... we would be able to catch the killer” Sam said enthusiastically.
Suddenly a peon came to Boss, bend to his ear, “ Sir.. there is an important call for you”
Boss got up, “You people carry on.. I will be back soon” he said, particularly to John and Sam and went out of the board room, echoing his footsteps.

... In the history of the world the invention of zero is very important. It had given the mathematics completeness. Zero is important as not only as a mere number but as a concept too. Today also there are so many problems in the science which could not have been solved without the invention of zero and in turn with the invention of infinity. There can be a debate on the issue of who invented zero. But it is equally true that the part of the world which is supposed to be the most advanced part today were not at all involved in the invention of zero. As other inventions they cleverly and conveniently imported this invention too. Not only that the America and Europe, the most advanced part of the world today, were using Roman number system in the past, which was supposed to be the most inconvenient and most inefficient for doing basic mathematics operations like addition, subtraction, multiplication, division etc., because in the Roman number system the digit does not have value according to its position.
To just talk about zero ... major portion of the people believes that the zero was fist invented in India. 1 is a first natural number. After 1 the subsequent natural numbers are 2,3,4,5,6 etc. There is no end to these numbers. If we add 1 to 1 we get 2. If we add 1 to 2 we get 3. Similarly we get 4,5,6 if we add 1 to 3,4,5 respectively. The opposite of addition is subtraction. If we subtract 1 from 5 we get 4. If we subtract 1 from 4,3,2 we get 3,2,1 respectively. But now the question arises, if 1 is subtracted from 1, what will happen. This question firstly came to the minds of Indian Rishis. If we subtract 1 from 1 we get emptiness. And it is written in the form of 0. Who used zero in the number form first time, though it is difficult to tell, in B.C 2nd century the Unan astrologers used to use 0 as a sign for zero. They also used to use it with the same meaning with which the Babalions used to use. In 200BC Pingal, one of the Indian mathematicians used zero in his chhanda sutra. In Bhakshali script (300BC) the numbers were found written making the use of zero. The oldest sign used for zero is dot (.)
Not only on the zero invention, in Aryabhatta’s era plenty of work has been done on Algebra and Geometry. But all that work was written in the form of sutra’s in Sanskrit, those who didn’t know Sanskrit were unaware of the fact. That work was persevered from generation to generation by mugging by the people in the form of shlokas. The base of the invention of zero was found in the Vedic era in different forms. The most authenticate proof which can not be denied by anybody was found scribbled on the ancient construction in Gwaler, one of the Indian city. On one ancient construction done in sanwat 933, some numbers were found scribbled. There is a mention of 50 garlands and a number 270, which are found written using hindi numbers. Here the zero is used not only as a number but also a place holder.
In the history of the world Brahmagupta was the first Indian mathematician who tried to do various operations on natural numbers and zero. Other cultures like Babalions also used a sign for zero as a place holder and as a number. But a major portion of people believes that - Those were the Indians who used zero as a number and a place holder first time. The number, the placeholder is mentioned in the Vedic literature at various places as 'Shunya'.
