As Anjali heard the gun shot from the mobile, she collapsed down. The cheerful environment in the hall suddenly saddened. Inspector rushed and taking help of few other people he held Anjali and made her lie down on the sofa. Somebody rushed to the phone and called for an ambulance.

Anjali was sprawled on a bed in the hospital. Doctor was standing besides her, checking her BP and Inspector, Bhatiaji, Sharwari and few more were standing around and were looking anxiously.
“ Doctor how is she?” Sharwari couldn’t stop to ask.
“ It seems she has gone through a huge shock, which she couldn’t sustain... in such cases its important to let go some time... time being, I have given her a sedative injection... due to which she will be in sleep for some time... during that time it is better that you all sit outside... But as soon as she gets to her senses somebody very close to her should be present around ... Who is the closest one?”
Doctor asked.
“ Me” Sharwari answered without any hesitation.
“ Who are you?... Are you her sister?”
“ No I am her friend..” Sharwari said.
“ No body else?... like mother father”
Sharwari looked around in confusion to compose the proper words to answer this question, when Inspector said, “ Doctor... she didn’t have anybody close in relation”
“ O.K... no problem... you stay here and take care when she wakes up” Doctor instructed Sharwari.
“ Yes sir” Sharwari said.
All other people left the room. Sharwari stayed back; in fact she might not have left the room even if instructed to go out, as she was very much worried about her. She sat near her head, moving her fingers through her hairs. Even if Anjali was her boss, she never treated her that way. She always treated her as a friend - a close friend. In fact when Anjali asked her to join her, it was more as a friend than PA. Sharwari was looking for her to come to her senses.

Around 2-3 hours might have passed since the sedative was pricked. Outside her room Inspector, Bhatiaji and few other people were still waiting for her to gain consciousness. After she gains consciousness, how she reacts all depended on her mental condition at that time, and how much she recovers from the shock. She was so much mentally and emotionally involved in Vivek, might be it was due to the fact that, she didn’t have anybody close like mother father. And the closest one she considered, leaving her like this was a huge shock.
A nurse came out of the room and informed, “ Inspector she has gained the consciousness”
The nurse again disappeared in the room. Everybody waiting outside the room rushed in.

In the room Anjali was sobbing keeping her head on Sharwari’s lap, and Shawari was trying to console and sooth her patting gently on her back and moving her fingers through her hairs. When she had gone through the shock, she didn’t get enough time to react to it, as she got unconscious immediately. Looking at this heartrending scene everybody present in the room wanted to come forward to console her, but the Doctor hinted them to stop. Doctor was also right, as it was important for her to give the way to her pain in the form of tears. Everybody, though feeling bad, was looking at her helplessly.

Suddenly a call far away from outside the room could be heard, “ Anjali”

Anjali was sitting on her chair and turning over some official papers. Sharvari was sitting next to her operating her computer. Suddenly computer buzzer rang. Anjali turned around to see at the monitor.
“ It’s his message” Sharwari announced.
Anjali stood up and went to the computer. Sharwari gave her way and vacated the computer seat.
“ Come on... go fast” Anjali instructed her, taking the charge of the computer.
Sharwari immediately left the cabin and entered the adjacent room. In the room Inspector Kawaljeet and two computer experts were sitting in front of a computer. Sharwari hurried to them. All of them turned around, sensing her presence.
“ The same thing had happened, as you anticipated.. the blackmailer has sent a message again..” Sharwari said hurriedly.
Without having a word, the computer experts took the charge of the computer. Now they were clear what they were up to.
“ Suraj... come on... this time he should not escape”
“ Sir... as before.. this time also he is operating from Mumbai.. and please note down his IP address..” The expert said, referring the software outputs from the computer.
Before he could complete his sentence, Inspector connected to Mumbai,
“ Raj... again we have traced the culprit... still he is busy in chatting... find out his exact location.. and see that his time the bastard should not escape.. and yes note down his IP address....”

Atul was busy in chatting, sitting in front of the computer in a cyber cafe.
“ Miss Anjali... Hi... How r u?” He typed the message and sent it.

It was quite a good amount of time; still there was no response from Anjali. But her name was visible in the chatting room.
Where the hell she has gone?...
Or may be confused, seeing my message unexpectedly...
He was thinking. Still there was no response from other side. Now his jaws were getting tightened due to anger, when the message came from other side,
“ I am fine”
At least she is there..
He was relieved. Now he was typing the next message, which was very important and it fact it was the sole purpose of his chatting,
" I am feeling bad to trouble you again... But what should I do?... Money is very bad thing... It finishes even if you use it cautiously... I am badly in need of 20 lakhs this time"
He typed and sent it immediately.
" It's not too long I have given you 50 lakhs... As per our agreement you were not supposed to ask it again... and the fact is I don't have money now..." The response came from other side, quite quickly than anticipated.
“ It's just last time... Because after this I am thinking of leaving the country" He typed and sent the message.
" You leave the country ... or whatever you do... it's least of my concern... look.. I don't have the tree which yields money ... " Anjali’s clear cut message came.
He was getting angry, but some how he managed to control his anger and typed the message,
" Ok.. fine... you have to give me at least 10 lakhs this time... Where and how you have to send it ... I will let you know on the mail" Atul sent and closed the chatting session.
He was in no mood to argue with her; in fact he didn’t want to give her chance to argue.

Now he was opening the mailbox, when something outside the window caught his attention. Outside he saw Police Inspector pacing towards the cyber cafe with some of his associates. Now the swiftness of his movements stimulated. Immediately he logged off of the computer, went to the cafe counter, paid the money and left the cafe as quickly as possible. As he left the cafe, within few seconds police inspector and his team entered the cafe. As the Inspector entered the cafe he took the charge and announced,
“ No body will go out of the cafe... all of you stay where you are.. Nobody will move”

Next to Anjali’s cabin, in the other room, two experts, Anjali and sharwari were looking in anticipation at Inspector, who was speaking on the mobile.
Inspector took aside his mobile from his ear and looking at Anjali he said with disappointment,
“ The bastard has managed to escape again...”
Anjali and Sharwari looked at each other, their excited faces were faded away.

As soon as Sharwari got Ananji’s message, she rushed to Anjali’s cabin. When she entered the cabin, she saw Anjali sitting disappointed lowering and resting her head on the front table.
“ Anjali ... What’s wrong?” Sharwari asked with concern, going to her and caressing gently on her back.
She had never seen her so broken, and that too in office.
What would have happened?...
Sharwari was thingking. Anjali slowly lifted her head, looked at her. Sharwari could sense a sort of heaviness and gloominess in her movements. Her face was also faded away.
Yes, when her father passed away, at that time also she looked similar..
Slowly and heavily moving her face towards monitor she said, “ Sharwari... everything is finished”
Computer monitor was on. Sharwari swiftly moved to the monitor to see what’s on it. She saw an open mail on monitor. When she looked closely, it was Vivek’s mail. She immediately started to read it -

“ Miss Anjali... Hi... I must accept that we had a nice time... I really enjoyed it ... The moments engrossed with happiness and with your love ... I have locked them in my heart... and in my camera too... I am sorry that I have locked them in my camera without your permission... Actually the moments were so worthy that I could not control my temptation.... You may not be believing me ... aren’t you?... look ... herewith I am sending one of those photographs... There are so many such moments .. which I have locked in my camera and my heart... I am thinking of publishing them on Internet... How do you feel the idea... an absolute genius ... isn’t it? ... But you may not like it... Yes.... if you wish I can burry those moments permanently in the depth of my heart... But for that you may be required to count on some very negligible price... You know ... there is some fixed prescribed value for everything... isn’t it?... I am not asking much.. just 50 lakhs... a negligible amount for you.. And yes... Arrange the money as immediately... I will mail you later regarding the time and the place of the dispatch...

For this mail I apologies you from the depth of my heart... But you know ... to achieve some thing you must sacrifice something ... Await for my next mail... AND YES... I very much fear about the police... And when I fear, I don’t have control over the things I do... and the thing I may do can Even be the murder...

After reading the mail Sharwari felt like the ground from her feet is skipped. She was quiet as if her whole body became numb. Even such thing could happen; she was not able to believe it. What she thought about Vivek. And What he proved to be.
“ Oh my God... He is a big fraud... I just can’t believe it..” words emitted from Sharvari’s open mouth.
Sharwari clicked on the photo link attached with the mail. It was Anjali’s and Vivek’s photo togather, while making out, at the extreme point of excitement.
“ But how did he take this photo?” Sharwari expressed her doubt and astonishment.
“ He knew .. well in advance .. when I was going to mumbai... where I was going to stay... etc..” Anjali said.
“ It’s a clear cut Blackmailing” Sharwari said angrily, tightening her fists.
“ I am still not able to believe ... such a dirty intentions behind his innocent looking face.” Anjali said with grief.
“ At least we came to know the truth before the marriage.. Otherwise God knows what would have happened.” Sharwari said.
“ I am not worried about the money... In fact I am feeling bad about the deceit ...” Anjali said.
“ Let’s assume ... for an instance ..that we pay him the money... But what is the guarantee that he would keep quiet after getting the money...” Sharwari expressed her doubt.
Anjali just looked at her face with terror, as she didn’t have the explanation to his doubt.
“ I think you must try to convince him sending a mail... and if still he is firm on his demand... don’t worry... we will find some way” Sharwari said trying to console her.

Anjali sat on a chair, with worried, gloom face. On her opposite side sat Sharwari, trying to understand Anjali’s mental state. Two days were passed happily, remembering the sweet moments passed with Vivek. But today she was worried.
" Today it is almost three days... There is neither chat message from him nor a single line mail" Anjali expressed her concern.
The one who used to chat many times a day, and used to send so many mails, is quiet from there days. Really it was a thing to worry.
" Is there any contact number?" Sharwari asked.
" Yes there is ... but its a college number... it would not be proper to call for him there" Anjali said.
" Yes .. you are right"
" The real concern is ... did he developed some misunderstanding about me or what? " Anjali asked, as if to self.
Whatever happened in the Hotel was not proper...
May be, because of that Vivek is thinking something wrong about me..
But whatever happened was so spontaneous.. and so sudden...
Nobody ever thought that it would happen...
I would not have called him in the hotel room..
If I would not have called him in the room... this instance would have not been happened in the first place..
Anjali's mind was crowded with thoughts.
“ I don’t think, he is thinking the way you are saying... May be he is not in your contacts due to some other reasons.. like.. he may have gone out of station in regard with some important work...” Sharwari was trying to console her.
From their discussions it was clear that they have had discussed in detail about what happened in the hotel. That way, she always considered her a close friend, well wisher, and always shared with her most of the private things also.
“ It would not have happened if I would not have called him inside the hotel...” Anjali said.
“ Anjali... don’t think too much... its not like that... and you don’t blame yourself.” Sharwari again tried to console her.

Mona stopped Ananji, who was passing by her in hurry.
“ Anandji... have you seen Sharwari?” Mona asked.
“ Yes... she is with Vikas.. Why... What’s wrong?’’ Ananji asked trying to read Mona’s worried face.
“ No.. nothing... Anjali mam has summoned her immediately... Are you going the same side.... Will you please pass on the message... It seems there is some urgent work” Mona said.
“ sure... As I reach, the first thing I will do it” Ananji said, climbing the steps.

Vivek was sitting on a computer in a cyber cafe. When he opened his Google mail account with magic movements of his fingers, he saw Anjali's mail arrived. His face beamed up with happiness. Without wasting much time, he double clicked on the mail, opened it and started reading through it -

"Vivek ... on 25th I am coming to Mumbai, in connection with a business meeting ... around 12.30 I will be reaching hotel Oberoi... there would be meeting at around 1.00, and it would be finished by 3.00 or 4.00 ... I will wait for you at Versova beach at 5 sharp... Bye for now.. .take care"

Vivek read the mail, stood up and victoriously cried, "Yess..."
He cried so loudly and impulsively that other people working around in the cafe looked at him with surprise and astonishment. When he realized it, he blushed and sat down.

Now he tried to concentrate on his research. He gave some search strings related to his research topic on the search engine. But he was not able to concentrate. He was feeling impatient, when the days would pass, when the desired day would dawn, when he would go to Mumbai and when he would at last meet her at Versova beach. He was feeling urged to meet her as soon as possible. 'Versova beach' he tried to recollect about the place. He knew that the place belongs to Mumbai, but the exact picture of the place was not coming to his mind, because he never visited it. Suddenly a search string 'Versova Beach' formulated in his mind, which he gave on the Google. So many links to photos, maps, information regarding Versova beach appeared. He opened the railway and road maps and finalized the route to would take on the desired day. As the task finished again he felt vacuum in his mind. What to do next. His mind was not ready to think over the other thoughts in which she was not there. Therefore he decided to open her old mails and surf through her attached photos. As he went through the mails he glanced through the dates, which indicated that the affaire was not that old. Today it was almost one month old. But he never felt that they are new to each other. He always felt that she is her old friend, a part of his old life. As per the mail contents they have sent each other they have well formed each other’s image in each other’s mind. By this time they were well aware of the nooks and hooks of each others nature.

“ Would she be exactly what I have imagined? Or would she be different?
A thought ran through his mind.

Or when we would meet ... one who is totally strange... one who is absolutely unfamiliar would have stood in front of me...

He was thinking while going through one of her digital album.

All those doubts would be cleared once for all ... once we would meet...
He thought.
Suddenly he sensed somebody’s presence behind him. He turned around to find Johny smiling at him naughtily.

“ So... whats’ up ? ...” He said pointing at his zip, to tease and irritate him.

“ Oh.. when did you come?” Vivek asked him trying to hide his confused looks.

“I thought why to disturb you when you are so deeply involved in your PHD topic” Johny said giving a little more stress on the world ‘PHD’

“ When did you come... its not good to peek in others private things.. you don’t have that much sense” Vivek said pretending dislike.

“ It’s almost half an hour I stood behind you..... after marriage, it seems ,definitely you are going to forget us” Johny said again try to tease him.

“ Aree No yaar... How could it happen?... At least I would not be able to forget you” Vivek said pretending to hit him in the stomach.

As days passed by, their mailing went on increasingly. The lengths and breadths of their mails went on increasing. Sending photos, sending jokes, sending puzzles...they were having so many reasons to send emails. Gradually Anjali realized that she was falling in love with him. But neither Vivek nor Anjali ever expressed it. With every mail, with every sentence of the mail, with every photo, they were sharing every aspect of their personalities. And Anjali found herself more and more attracted and immersed in his love. She never stopped herself; in fact she was enjoying the immersing rather than controlling herself. But as far as expressing love is concerned she was cautious. She had a good reason, that she still has not seen him. It was not the case that she was unaware of his love. But maybe he was also equally cautious, maybe with the same reason that he had also not yet met her.

Will he avoid me after meeting personally...

A slightest thought came to her mind, which she immediately shook off. Because she was confident of her.

Anjali was busy in chatting on her machine and Sharwari was sitting across her table.
While reading a message, came on the monitor, Anjali said,

" Sharwari... look .. what he has sent"

Sharwari got up from her chair and joined Anjali, standing right behind her, looking at the monitor. These days they often used to exchange some things or the other. And Sharwari also always liked to enjoy their 'lovely' communications. There was a dancing Chinese baby on the monitor. They exchanged a sweet smile. Suddenly the baby started to pee while dancing, when both of them laughed loudly.

" Where did he search these stuff ?" Anjali said.

" Ya .. that's true... I search the internet most of the time but I never came across this animation" Sharwari affirmed.

When they were busy exchanging sweet comments about Vivek, an aged person knocked the door. Anjali looked at the door and affirmed him to come in. As he came in, Anjali revolved the chair to face him. Sharwari left the cabin. As the man took the seat across her she said,

" Yes Anandji.."

" Madam ... Intel has arranged a meeting with their all collaborator companies... Just now I received their fax... They have sent a venue and the date... and an agenda is also attached with it. " Anandji supplied the information.

" What is the venue? " Anjali asked.

" Mumbai... 25th... that is Monday and the venue is Oberoi hotel" Ananji said, referring the calendar.

Anjali thought over, looking at the calendar,

" OK.. .send the confirmation ... and will you submit all my flight and hotel booking details to Mona please "

" Yes.. sure Madam" Anandji said, standing up.

Anandji left the cabin and Anjali revolved her chair, taking the charge of computer again. Her face was beaming with happiness. Quickly, with swift movements of her fingers, she opened her mailbox and started to type a new mail -

" Vivek... it seems our meeting is destined to happen very soon .. Ask how?... No I won't tell now... there should be some climax... isn't it? .. will send all details in the next mail... Bye for now.. take care... Anjali ☻.."

Anjali immediately send it by pressing the 'send' button. A message appeared on the monitor - 'Mail Sent'

As Anjali opened Vivek's chatting message, she realized that her heartbeats are increased. She was surprised of her own uneasy state.

She couldn’t stop herself to read the message as quickly as possible,
" Hi, Good morning... How are you?"

Her fingers were about to move on the keyboard to reply back, but somehow she managed to held herself back, thought for a while.
Am I involving in all this unnecessarily?...

She made herself sure and then typed cautiously,
" Fine.."

Again she found her fingers restless to click on the send button. But she controlled them, and counted till hundred in her mind and then clicked on the send button. She didn't want her restlessness to be caught by him.

" Yesterday I was out of station" The message came from other side.

As if it was an answer to the question revolving in Anjali's mind - 'Yesterday... Why didn't you show up on the chatting?'

Was he able to read her mind?...
Or is he a mind reader?...
Anjali thought.

" I see" she expressed her reaction dryly.

" Are you not going to ask something more?'' He asked.

She was purposefully delaying for the responses. But his messages were coming impulsively, as if he was typing them before getting her messages.

" Why don't you ask?" She replied.

She was feeling as if she was on a first date.

" And yes... the other day what happened you know?... I wanted to send you a mail but I didn't know much about you... And I couldn't stop myself to send you mail.. so I sent you a blank mail... "

Then, taking a lead he asked, " Ok.. what do you do? ... I mean education or job?"

" I have completed B.E in computer engineering... and right now I am Managing Director of G.H. Informatics... the company owned by me... " She sent.

She knew, it was very dangerous to provide the real information, specially during the initial chatting sessions, but she could not stop, as if she was typing without having control over her fingers.

" My God!" He responded.

" Would you mind if I ask you your age?... No.. I mean... I have read somewhere that ladies doesn’t like if their age is asked.... " He asked cautiously.

'' 23 years" She replied.

" Yes.. I knew it... In fact I had searched it from your mail-id .. frankly speaking ... when you disclosed that you are MD.. in fact an image of an aged lady, around 45-50, came into my mind.. " Now he was talking quite freely.

She was smiling over his overall humorous nature. And knowing that he had searched about her through search engine, she felt that he is equally serious about her.

" You haven't told your age yet'' She asked.

" I have provided my real age in my mail-id information... " His reply came.

From his reply she knew that he is definitely different.

Today , as Anjali arrived in the office she took her seat and started the computer. After the computer is booted she started chatting program and checked whether there are some offline messages. There were none. Emotions of disappointment could be seen on her face. She started going through the reports kept on her table, in order to divert her mind. It was Sharwari who was smiling while observing her movements minutely, who was sitting right across her. While going through the reports Anjali realized the thing; she glanced to caught her smiling-

" Why are you smiling so sweetly dear?'' Anjali asked.

Sharwari quickly and swiftly changed her expressions and wore a serious face.
" No.. no ... I am not smiling"

Suddenly a computer buzzer rang and Anjali looked at the monitor in anticipation. Realizing there is nothing which she was expecting again she pretended to read the reports.

" It's since two days... whenever the chatting buzzer rings you look at it leaving everything .. Are you expecting somebody's message or mail?" Sharwari asked.

" No ... no ... nothing important" Anjali said still going through the reports, probably to avoid the direct eye contact.

Again the buzzer rang. Again she looked at the monitor with anticipation, and this time she turned to the computer, moving her revolving chair.

" This must be Vivek's message" Sharvari said, again trying to tease her.

“ Which Vivek?" Anjali asked, pretending her ignorance.

" Which Vivek?... the one which met you the other day on the chatting " Sharvari also was not in mood to leave her.

" How can you be so sure" Anjali asked, while keying on the keyboard.

" Madam ... its visible from your blushed red face" Sharvari said, smiling at her.

First the expressions of 'catching the theft' came on Anjali's face and then she managed to replace them with angry expressions.

" Will you leave me alone for a while... It's since long I am seeing that you are trying hard to annoy me... Go out and you will find that there are so many jobs pending for you... " Anjali said.

Sharwari smiled, stood up, understanding Anjali's intention and left the cabin. As Sharwari left, Anjali opened Vivek's chat message, which was just arrived.

Morning time. A forest of building with glasses everywhere. A building among these buildings was of IT Company, and the employees of the company were arriving one by one. As it was around 10' O clock the rush of employees increased suddenly. Everybody was rushing to reach in before 10, as they did not wanted to be late. Every employee's arrival time was recorded on the smart card reader mounted on the door. Not only arrival time but also the overall in-out movement of the employees was recorded in the smart card reader. The main glass door of the company was equipped with magnetic lock, and the door was programmed to open only when the employees show their identity cards to the smart card reader. Due to those identity cards and smart card readers the security of the company and the regularity of the employees were maintained. As 10's buzzer rang almost everybody was in the company, including company Director and CEO Anjali also.

Aljali was around 23 and she was B.E. computer. Due to her father's sudden death, earlier company Director and CEO, the responsibility of company came to her. It was a big responsibility compared to her age; otherwise it was an age of roaming and enjoying the young days. Her wish was to go to US for the further education. But due to her father's untimely demise her wish remained a mere wish. She used to try to handle the responsibility of heading the company at the same time she also used to try to keep her liveliness alive.

Anjali walked along the aisle to her cabin, between the cubicles on both sides. As such she preferred to wear casuals during office hours - loose white T-shirt and loose cotton creamy trouser. Whenever there was some important program or meeting with an important client then only she used to prefer to wear formal dress. For other office staff and developers also it was not compulsory to wear formal dress. They were free to wear the dresses in which they feel comfortable.
Anjali always used to say 'The work you do in office... you should be able to enjoy it. If you are able to enjoy the work then you would not feel the exhaustion from it' She had increased the productivity of the employees by mixing enjoyment and hobbies with the work. She had provided the facilities of gym, swimming pool, Zen chamber, meditation room, TT room, etc to the employees. Because of these facilities the employees used to spend their maximum time in the office and used to deal with stress in between the hectic tasks. He was getting the good results of this.
While entering her office she came across some of her employees. They wished her, bowing their heads slightly. She also wished back, with sweet smile. It was evident from their body language that the wish was not out of fear, but it was out of the respect they felt about her. It was the peculiarity of her cabin that it had the same furniture, which the other employees had. 'I am also one among you' probably she wanted to convey the message out of it.

When she reached her cabin, she pushed the glass cabin door, equipped with spring, and entered her cabin.

It was a scene of terrible accident; Stella’s deformed car was lying on one side of the road. Car had violently dashed with the tree trunk. The dash was so violent that the place where the car was dashed was also injured badly. On the driver seat was lying injured Suzan. Images of Stella and Dr. Steven came out of the car. They rushed towards injured Suzan.
"I warned him right from the beginning...But he didn't listened.." Dr. Steven said, approaching injured Suzan.
Stella leaned over Suzan to see her beat. Dr. Steven anxiously stood beside her. She could not hold her wrist.
"Now you need to change your habits dear ... the rules of game are different here... " Dr. Steven said, trying to tease her.
Stella then listened to her breath closely. Dr. Steven also knelt down.
“Thank God... She is breathing “ Stella said.
Realizing something she looked around and said, “ But, Where is Jacob?”
Stella and Dr. Steven got up and looked around for Jacob. They were not able to spot him. Stella headed for the other side of the car to look for him.
“We can find him latter... First, we need to save her.” Dr. Steven suggested.
Seeing the gravity of the situation Stella immediately agreed and came back to Suzan. She leaned over her to hold her, looked at Dr. Steven and averted her eyes realizing she can’t hold her. She was feeling bad about the thing that she couldn’t help Suzan. She got up and looked around for help. But there was nobody around other than the dark on the road ahead and behind.

Looking for help, Stella ran ahead on the road for a while. Still nobody came across. She was about to loose hope, when one car passed by. She waved to stop but it did not stop.
When she realized that the driver might not saw her, she started chasing the car. She realized that in this form she was so light and could run fast. When she reached the car, her soul entered into the running car. Then she entered into driver’s body and she took charge of everything.

The driver stopped the car, turned it, and took it to the accident place. After stopping at the accident place, the driver immediately got down and went straight to Suzan. Opening the front door of the car, lying deformed, upside down, he pulled Suzan out. The driver held her carefully and took her to the back seat of his car.
The driver stepped into the car and drove away with full speed. Slowly, the fade soul image of Stella appeared in the driver’s body and the soul of Dr. Steven appeared on the back seat beside Suzan.

English literature - Black Hole CH-51 An accident

Suzan and Daniel were in deep sleep, slept in their bedroom. Suddenly Suzan stirred uneasily. She seemed to be disturbed, probably having some dreadful dream. She seemed to be so frightened that she became all wet with sweat. Some sweat drops appeared on her face too. Suzan’s eyes wide opened with scare and she sat up.
These days she was going through really dreadful dreams...
She used to see often a dream of explosion in a well in the rocky den...
After an explosion in front of the castle, she used to see such dreams more often...
In fact she was totally changed from that moment...
But she was helpless and could not speak out and share her feelings with someone..
She got down from the bed and headed towards the bedroom door. Her every movement was like machine, as if somebody else was controlling those movements. She opened the bedroom door. Standing in the open door, she looked back. Daniel was in deep sleep.

It was midnight. In front of Suzan’s house it was dark everywhere. Chirping of crickets could be heard around.
Front door of Suzan’s house opened. Suzan came out of the house. She pulled the front door to close and headed for her car. Wailing sound of dogs could be heard from distance. The environment outside was scary. But Suzan seemed not to be affected by any of these. Without hustle and without fear she was walking calmly towards the car. As she reached the car, she opened the door and stepped in, slamming back the door. She started the car and her car tore out of the parking lot, racing for the gate. As her car reached the road, she drove off with full speed.

Suzan drove down a dark road, when Stella’s soul appeared beside Suzan’s seat. Still Suzan was busy in driving the car. After some time, Dr. Steven’s soul appeared on the back seat.
“Jacob, I am telling you again. Don’t do this ...Its risky.” Dr. Steven’s soul image warned.
Now Jacob’s fade soul appeared in the Suzan’s body.
“Jacob I think you should listen to him.” Stella supported.
“No ... I am firm on my decision.” Jacob’s soul residing in Suzan’s body spoke out first time.

Suddenly a car came right in front of Suzan’s car. Suzan abruptly turned to her left to avoid the collision. Suzan, Stella, and Dr. Steven, all exhaled relief knowing that the collision was avoided. But the very next moment, fright expressions crept over their faces. Suzan realized that her car was about to collide with a big tree trunk. They all shrieked loudly. Suzan abruptly applied brakes. Suzan's car violently spin around several times until it collided with the tree trunk.

English literature - Black Hole CH-49 Book Store

In a bookstore Daniel picked a random book from a rack and flipped through it. Suzan was standing beside him. She seemed to be drowned in her thoughts.
"Look.... this book is about Indian dishes...See here the preparation of curry … you like. Isn’t it?" Daniel said turning over some pages.
When Daniel turned to look at Suzan, she was not there.
He kept back the book on the shelf and looked around. She was not around in the hall. He rummaged around for her in the bookstore. He went and looked for her in the other adjacent halls, she was not there too.
Just now she was here...
Where the hell she has gone?..
There was a small magazine room nearby. He peeked in, to find nothing but an empty room.
Recently she is behaving weird...
May be because of her brother's and his wife’s disappearance...
May be she would have returned home, leaving behind me alone here...
Daniel thought. Hurriedly, he went out of the shop and looked around. She was not seen anywhere.
Car keys are with her...
Did she returned home by car?..
He ran towards the parking lot. He was relieved to find his car in place.
That means she must be around here...
Certainly she is not outside the shop..
I must check her out again in the shop...
He came back again in the shop. He checked each and every nook and corner of the library but he could not find her. Suddenly he realized that the bookstore had one more floor.
She must be upstairs...
He rushed upstairs. The first floor had 3-4 halls. He searched carefully everywhere. There was not much crowd on the first floor, as compared to the ground floor.
Where the hell she would have gone?...
Now he was getting worried. Before leaving the first floor he casually peeked in an adjacent reading room. He found her standing and facing towards the shelf in the corner. He went to her. She was leafing through a book. He was relieved that at last he had found her.
"Honey, what are you doing here?" He asked, approaching her, "I was so scared for you"
Suzan was so engrossed in the book that she did not respond. Daniel held her shoulder to make her aware, " Suzan... "
Suzan kept back the book on the shelf, looked at Daniel, and walked to the other shelf. Daniel surprisingly gazed her while she was going.
Daniel picked the book from the shelf kept back by her. He read the title, it was - ‘Black Hole’

"What? You are Dr. Steven Halls?..." Jacob asked in surprise.
The old man who was standing around them since so long was nobody other than a well known researcher, who had created these black holes. It was difficult for Jacob to believe.
"I never expect you will talk in such a negative way.... You are a researcher I admire you very much. I am sorry to say but…it doesn’t suit you." Jacob said sarcastically as he was still not able to believe.
Jacob’s attention went towards Suzan, Daniel, Brat, and other police staff, those who were assembled around something.
“There must be some way out... to continue the research... It’s a researcher instinct... it will not allow me to keep quit... “Jacob said looking at the assembled crowd, not particularity to anyone.
“Do you think I have not tried to continue...?” Dr. Steven asked.
Jacob glanced at Dr. Steven and walked past him. He moved towards the crowd. The crowd was gazing at something lying in the center curiously. Jacob walked triumphantly towards them. His face showed an enlightened shine. Stella kept gazing him confused. She was trying to get what was going on his mind.
When Jacob reached Suzan, Dr. Steven warned him, “No man ... don’t do that... it’s very risky... “
Probably Dr. Steven understood what was going on Jacob’s mind.
Jacob did not respond and he just smirked.
Stella was totally clueless and was looking in astonishment at Jacob and Dr. Steven alternatively.
Jacob went closer to Suzan and started entering into Suzan’s body.
“Don’t do that... her life will be at risk. “ Dr. Steven warned him again, this time loudly and intensely.
Jacob did not listen. Without wasting time he entered Suzan’s body.

Suzan, Daniel, Brat, and other people assembled around a crystal, which was fallen on the ground. Stella reached the crystal by piercing the crowd. She tried to pick up that crystal, but in vain. Suzan went forward. She seemed to be possessed. She picked up that crystal, stared at it holding it closer.

Jacob was totally frustrated to know that nobody could hear or see them. Jacob stood in front of Stella and started to talk her intensely,
" I was arrived at the point where Dr. Steven Halls reached and could not continue his research."
Stella looked into his eyes; she felt proud of him.
"Only creating artificial worlds is not enough. There are many more things to do." Jacob continued.
"Like...?" Stella asked.
"You see, since he has created the artificial worlds. There must be worlds, which are real."
"Yes you told me before." Stella said.
"Therefore, we must find those worlds and the means to enter and return from those worlds...
Without it, the research done by Dr. Steven Halls had no meaning. Without it, his research is incomplete" Jacob said.
Now the old man joined them, " My dear...Nothing is incomplete in this world. Every thing has got its own end."
Jacob stared at Stella ignoring the old man.
"But how can we continue the research now. " Jacob asked Stella.
" That's right...We can’t even hold the things." Stella expressed her concern.
"My friend ... Now wherever you are ... the rules of the game are different here... it’s a different world altogether." the old man said.
"Whatever it may be, one thing is clear...to continue the research… we must go back to our world." Jacob said decisively.
"When somebody someday goes to search the unknown...
Even if he finds the unknown...
How he will tell the secret to known.
If he himself becomes the unknown..."
The old man said in philosophical tone.
"Going back? … .. My dear... unfortunately it doesn’t seems to be possible... " the old man continued.
Now Jacob faced the old man, eye to eye.
"Why?... Why not possible?" He asked Angrily.
"Because such things neither have had happened in past nor going to happen in future... " The old man answered.
Jacob carefully and curiously gazed at the old man, " By the way, who are you? … Why don’t you leave us alone?"
"I am Dr. Steven Halls" the old man said mysteriously.

In front of the castle everywhere the pieces of rocks and dust were scattered and beside the well small- small piles of rocks were formed. Everywhere around it was pin drop silence and the dark in the well was disappeared and the water started shining in place at the bottom. In the debris, there was a little movement. From the debris, somebody slowly got up. She was Stella. As soon as she got up she looked around anxiously to search Jacob. She felt relieved when she spotted him lying at one place. She immediately went to him. She rolled him to make his face visible.
“Jacob... “ Her voice revealed the happiness she experienced to find him.
He was lying motionless. She shook him, gently. Her happiness started diminishing.
“Jacob ... Come on getup.” A deep concern and worry could be sensed in her voice.
Still he didn’t rouse. She checked his breath and started shaking him wildly.
Stella saw Jacob’s hand stirring slowly. Happiness again crept over her face. Jacob slowly opened his eyes. He found Stella in front of him. Both of them hugged each other fervently. The glee from them was tangible.
“Thank GOD... at last we came out safely.” Jacob said happily.

They came out of embrace and got up, supporting each other. While walking, they faced difficulty since they were injured and drained.
“Why did it explode? Was there any problem?” Stella asked, the puzzle she had since long but didn’t have time to ask.
“You know...These black holes are created out of implosion... and explosions had to destroy them one day or the other ... “ Jacob answered.
“Implosion?” Stella asked with surprise.
“ Yes implosion... It’s exactly opposite phenomenon of explosion.... I think since they were created artificially... they get destroyed early.” Jacob explained further.
“That means this world is also going to explode one day...” Stella asked understanding the hidden meaning of his statement.
“Exactly. However, that time is huge as compared to a human life.” Jacob said.

English Books - Black Holes CH-44 Outside the castle

As soon as Jacob and Stella fell on the ground in the rocky den at 'A' level, Jacob got up quickly and started running with Stella, because they knew that they didn't had much time. As they passed well ‘A1’, (Level 1 black hole 1) it exploded hugely. Everywhere spread the shower of rocks; few pieces hit them. They were injured but they kept running because they didn't have time to see where they were hit. Even they did not look back, as they knew this was the last level, which they had to pass, and they would be totally free after that. As they passed by well ‘A3’ (Level 1 black hole 3), it also exploded. Jacob and Stella were thrown up with the force of the explosion. This time they were badly injured. Everything was out of their control; they were being thrown in the direction in which the force of the explosion was taking them. They were almost sure that when they would fall down they would be fatally injured, as everything was rocky around, and probably they would not survive also.

They started falling down with the pieces of rocks. When they were falling down, since they were exactly over ‘Exit’ well, they realized that they were falling into the ‘Exit’ well with the pieces of rocks. In such a dreadful situation also a glimpse of hope and happiness could be seen on their faces. They were in fact thrilled to know that once they pass this 'Exit' well they were going to be free. They were slowly falling in the well, with the other pieces of rocks. They were also being hit with the rocks, but the feeling of happiness was dominant over the feeling of pain.

Now they were exactly over the 'Exit' well. Suddenly the crystal from Jacob’s wrist escaped and fell down. The crystal started falling into the well. Behind the crystal, Jacob and Stella were declining in the well. When they were around in middle of the way, the ‘exit’ well in which they were falling, suddenly exploded. The sound of rock pieces hitting the ground could be heard. Slowly it diminished and then silence and dark spread everywhere - The silence after the huge blasting sound and the dark after the bright sparking light.

Brat, Daniel, Suzan, and other police officers all were searching Stella and Jacob in the Castle. Not only they were not getting them but also they were not getting their traces also. Brat was sufficiently irritated and was making his team to run around to search them. His team members were also tired, and were trying to avoid going in front of him. Suddenly they heard the big explosion sound outside the castle. For few moments they didn't understand anything. They started running fearfully wherever they can. Lastly they realized that the blast sound was not from inside the castle but was somewhere from outside the castle. But the sound of the blast was so huge that the whole castle was shaken dreadfully. All stunned, they started running out of the castle. They came at the castle entrance, stopped taken aback. They found the pieces of rocks scattered everywhere.

Stella and Jacob were horrified and were looking at the broken pieces of the rock fallen right in front of them. Some how they managed to recover from the shock when a big explosion occurred in the well at the extreme end of the den. They went white; every cell of their body stilled with fear. They immediately ran to hide behind a huge rock. The pieces of rocks spread everywhere and few pieces fell in front of them. The well in which the explosion occurred, remained no more well, it became just a pile of rocks.
"What is happening?” Stella asked, horrified, gasping.
"Come on ... something is wrong. We need to get out as quickly as possible ..." Jacob said; he was also gasping.
Holding each other’s hand firmly, they started running towards the ‘exit’ well. Then, they jump immediately into the ‘exit’ well, when they reached it.

Jacob and Stella fell on the ground in the rocky den at 'C' level. Jacob got up quickly.
"Come on ... Getup..." Jacob said, holding her hand and pulling her up helping her to get up. As she got up, both of them darted towards the ‘Exit’ well at level 3. While running, Jacob was almost pulling her holing her hand firmly and Stella was trying to match with his pace. When they were about to reach the ‘Exit’ well, another well ‘C2’ (Level 3 black hole 2) exploded violently.
"Careful ... the pieces of rocks may come towards us..." Stella said, still running with him.
Running fast as they can, they managed to jump in the ‘Exit’ well before some other well explodes.
They might have reached halfway in the 'exit' well, when another well ‘C1’ (Level 3 black hole 1) also exploded.

Jacob and Stella both fell on the ground in the rocky den at 'B' level. The pieces of rocks followed them. Jacob promptly covered Stella to protect her.

After some time, both of them got up by supporting each other. There were some minor injuries on their bodies. As they got up they raked their torch flashes around to search for an 'Exit' well. At one place they seized their focus, where they found ‘B2’ (Level 2 black hole 2) already exploded and the pieces of rocks scattered everywhere.
They started to find the way to the ‘Exit’ well through the rocks on their way. They could see the 'Exit' well but there were obstructions of piles of rocks in between.
They climbed over one of the piles of rocks, which was on the way towards the way to ‘Exit’ well. There was no problem while climbing but when they reached the peak and tried to get down, they almost tumbled on the other side of the pile. When they reached the bottom of the pile, suddenly Stella screamed loudly.
" What's wrong?" Jacob slid his attention holding her and joined her stare. He found the wild dog dead, may be due to hitting of rocks, blood stained rocks and blood spread everywhere. Getting up they again started running as fast as they can. Running and shrieking, when they reached the 'Exit' well they jumped in.
When their shrieking voice faded, suddenly ‘Exit’ well, the same well in which they jumped exploded.

English literature - Black Hole CH-41 Black Hole 'D4'

Few minutes passed, they were holding each other in embrace tightly and were caressing each other tenderly. At last she had found her husband and realized that in fact Jacob is her husband Gibson, though in different form.
She came out of embrace holding his face with her hands. She observed his face carefully. There was not a slightest similarity between his and Gibson's face.
"How did it happen, Honey? " She asked, still staring at his face.

Suzan, Daniel, Brat, and the police team searched Stella in each and every corner of the Castle, but they could not find her. Brat anticipated that today at last he could find Gibson. But nothing was happening according to his anticipation therefore he was irritated.
Okay he was not able to find Gibson, but he should at least be able to find Stella...
Where the hell she has gone? ...
Does she lost in the limitless sky or the earth has engrossed her?...
His frustration and anger could be sensed in the way he was dealing with his team.

Stella and Jacob stood near the well. The rock standing near the well, revealed ‘D4’ (Level 4 black hole 4), Danger mark and a prism carved on it. Jacob touched and felt the prism carved on it.
"This is the black hole, which is responsible for all this… " Jacob said.
Stella stared at him and waited for his next words.
Jacob started to tell his story....

... When Gibson came to 'D' level, he looked around and walked to the edge of the black hole ‘D4’ (Level 4 black hole 4), taking the reference of the documents held in his hand. He leaned forward and looked in. He kept aside the documents, moved few steps back, steadied himself and jumped in.

Gibson fell on the ground in other rocky den. Looking around, focusing the torch, he got up. He approached a rock wall ahead and wrote on the wall with a white chalk. It read -
‘World is a mathematical expression which is a function of space and time.’
After he wrote the whole sentence, he stared at the words. He realized that the letters on the wall slowly started disappearing in the sequence in which they were written. He looked around. His moving torch focus rested on ‘Exit’ well and he headed towards the ‘Exit’ well.

As he walked, Gibson’s cloths disappeared slowly.

Then his torch disappeared.

Suddenly the speed of changes increased.

Slowly, Gibson turned younger and younger.

He became 7-8 years child.

The boy turned into a kid of age 4-5 months.

Lastly, he disappeared.

The whole den started disappearing slowly.

There was nothing left where he stood.

Then the walls, roof of the den started disappearing.

The moment came when the complete den was disappeared.

...

....

Again out of nothing the den started appearing.

The complete den reappeared.

From nothing, a kid appeared.

He turned into a boy.

The boy grew slowly.

He became a man. However, he was not Gibson. He was altogether a different man - Jacob.

Suddenly the speed of changes decreased.

Slowly, his cloths and torch came back.

There was ‘exit’ well right behind him. He looked at the rock wall.
The worlds reappeared -
‘World is a mathematical expression which is a function of space and time.’
As the letters reappeared, Jacob turned towards the ‘exit’ well, ran, and jumped in it immediately.

English literature - Black Hole CH-40 Who are you?

A car stopped in front of the Castle beside other two vehicles, one Stella's Car and other police jeep. Brat got down quickly, slamming back the door. The police member waiting for him came forward.
"Where is our team?" Brat asked.
"They went in, sir" the police member said politely.
"Come..." Brat said looking at the castle, without looking at the police member.
They hurriedly walked into the castle.

Stella jumped again in the other black hole. As she jumped, the wild dog ambled out from behind the rock, holding a bone in his jaw. He went to the edge of the well, from which Stella just jumped and stared in, probably was looking for Stella.

Stella fell on the ground in the rocky den. She got up immediately. Suddenly, Thud! A horrifying sound came. Stella shrieked in horror and stepped back few steps. It was a partially eaten bone fallen right in front of her.

In front of the Castle, now Suzan’s car also came, and halted in a row of other three vehicles. Looking in astonishment at the castle, Suzan and Daniel got out of the car.
"What the hell she is doing here?" Daniel said looking around at the strange place.
"Come on be fast ... Till now Brat may have found her." Suzan said, hurrying to go in the castle.
Suzan followed by Daniel, both of them darted in.

Stella was in one of the Den at level 'D'. She rummaged through the whole den moving around the torch focus. Lastly her torchlight focus seized on a rock standing beside a black hole. The rock read ‘D1’ (Level 4 black hole 1). Stella again raked around moving the torch focus. Suddenly she hold her torchlight focus steady as she found Jacob standing right in front of her. In fact she was taken aback, finding him so close and right in front of her. He was holding a huge knife in one hand and a rock in other. As the light fell on him, he started to move towards Stella. Stella also started moving towards him firmly, without fear.
"What are you doing here?" Jacob asked her.
With a deep meaningful stance, Stella looked at him. Her eyes started to well up.
"Who are you? " She asked.
Jacob stopped.
"Tell me who are you? ... I have recognized you." Stella asked again.
Jacobs's hold on the knife became firm. He came closer, and looked straight into her eyes.
"I knew one day or the other you are going to find the truth." Jacob said.
He came still closer, face to face with her. His hold eased on the rock and the knife. The rock and the knife fell down. He stared at her with a same deep meaningful stance.
"Honey ... You have rightly recognized me.... Yes I am ... Gibson...your Gibson" He said keeping both of his hands on her shoulder. He went very close to her, almost feeling her breath. They stared at each other as if their eyes locked.
Suddenly, with a surge of emotions, they embraced holding each other firmly and passionately.

English books - Black Hole CH-39 Thud

A car stopped in front of the Castle. Car door opened and Stella got down the car. Almost running, she went to the well and immediately jumped into the well.

After some time a Police car arrived and stopped beside Stella’s car. A team of police got down. They rushed and circled Stella's car. They looked for Stella in her car. Knowing she is not in, they searched around.

One of the police member informed Brat on wireless, "Sir she has just stopped here in front of the Castle .. on the same road on the left side"
From other side Brat may have given some instruction because the police staff kept on saying in between -
"Yes sir..."
"Sir"
"Sir"
"Right sir..."
"Yes sir? .... "
Realizing the wireless is been hanged from other side, he switched it off and pocketed it.
" She is not here anywhere" One of the team members said.
" She must have gone in the castle" Other said, looking at the huge, old walls of the castle with astonishment.
"Come on ... let’s go in...." The senior member said.
" You be ready.. we don't know who else is inside" the senior member said.
The senior member guided the team towards the castle. After walking few steps, he stopped abruptly, turned back.
"You wait for Mr. Brat..." He instructed to one of the members.
" Yes Sir" the police member said politely and stayed back, while the rest of them followed the senior member.

As soon as Stella fell on the ground in the rocky den, she quickly got up. She switched on the torch and moved around the focus. As she saw a rock standing near a well on which 'A1' was carved, she focused her torch flash on it and rushed towards it. She must have traveled the half distance to the well, when Thud! Suddenly something fell from the roof right in front of her. She stepped back with alarm. It was a huge piece of rock. Fearfully she looked above. There was nothing but a notch was seen from where probably the piece was fallen.
How it must have happened?...
It never happened before..
She was thinking while looking at the roof.
