Anjeni was worried and desperately waiting for John.
What would have happened?
Where should he have gone?
Why shouldn’t he have returned since then?
She was getting concerned.
I would have tried his phone... but he has left his mobile here.
She was anxious. She was going in for a while and coming out quickly again sensing some movement outside.
Why should she get so concerned about him?
She was surprised of herself. Again she heard some vehicle arriving outside. She got up and went outside. The vehicle stopped in front of hotel. But it was not John. It was a private taxi. Disappointed, she turned to get in, she heard a call-
"Anjeni"
She stopped and turned back, it was John, got out from the private taxi. His hair were messed up and the clothes tattered.
What would have happened?
Concerned, she ran to him. John also hobbled at her.
" What's wrong?" She asked in worry.
He kept coming towards her. She quickly went to him to support.
"We should go to hospital" she checked him for injuries.
" No... it’s not much... just swelling somewhere" he said with difficulty.
" Even then ... we should go for checkup" She flagged a taxi passing by.
She supported him to sit in the taxi and squeezed beside him.
" Three counties hospital" She guided the taxi driver.
" No... really it’s not necessary" He said again.
" Where is your vehicle?" She asked.
" It’s there... back... beside the road... It was about to be a fatal accident." he said.
" Driver ... take us to police quarters" he interrupted.
Driver slowed down, looked at Anjeni in confusion, and then at John. Anjeni signaled him to follow his instructions.
